Apparently Nikon is working on some new prime lenses. This year, Nikon will release three full-frame digital camera bodies. They currently have the D3 but rumor has it that the D3X and D300X are right around the corner. They will also be launching 3 new fast prime lenses sometime this year:
Nikkor 35mm f/1.4
Nikkor 50mm f/1.4
Nikkor 85mm f/1.4
And possibly a 24mm f/1.4
